I have made a terrible, terrible mistake.
You should know this about me: I am secretly a very image-conscious man. It borders on outright vanity, and I do not expect to look good with a moustache.
I am participating in a fund-raising endeavor called Mo’vember in which I, and a group of friends so I don’t have to suffer alone, grow moustaches for the entire month of November (get it?). We solicit donations to the organization, which go to help fund prostate cancer research. A good cause no doubt but, as I said, I have issues.
To be honest, I probably would have backed out by now if folks hadn’t already donated to my fund. Now I feel obligated to provide something for their money. Which reminds me, you cheapskates – pony up. Follow THIS LINK, click on Donate To An Individual, and put in my name or registration number, 1356986. The money goes directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Even $10 will go a long way.
So, now you know. I am terrified. I don’t go in for the ironically bad fashion thing, which moustaches on anyone under 40 most certainly are. I also have serious facial hair deficiencies. In every way, I am destined to fail, but for your entertainment, I will push forward in the spirit of adventure and keep a running commentary here, along with photos. I shave my upper lip for the last time Oct 31st.
